CHRIS BROWN QUITS SOCIAL MEDIA AGAIN AFTER RECEIVING INSULTS FOR JESUS COMPARISON…
Chris Brown has deleted his Instagram page after being lampooned online for drawing comparisons between his current travails and that of Christians’ religious figure, Jesus.
The singer came under intense fire from fans after posting a photo of a painting of Jesus Christ’s crucifixion with the caption’Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters!’; Breezy felt he was unfairly criticized following his widely publicized studio spat with Frank Ocean.
But the multi-award winning R&B singer got more than he bargained for as the insults kept pouring in thereafter and to escape the controversy generated by the photo, he deleted all the photos on his Instagram page but not before notifying his fans of his departure.
“I would like to thank all my wonderful fans for letting me express my talents/art for you all. But social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I’m detaching myself from that world.
“Elevate yourself above the negative and if it doesn’t work move on! I respect myself enough as well as my fans to wanna be great!” he wrote.
Information Nigeria recalls that this is not the first time Chris Brown has quit social media as he once deleted his Twitter page in the height of his love triangle controversy with Rihana and Karreuche.
