B.G. ON 14 YEAR PRISON SENTENCE, "I MADE MY BED".

bgPrisons are filled with men who claim they are victims of injustice, but as he prepares to ship out for his own 14-year bid behind bars, B.G. is accepting full responsibility for his situation. In a final interview, the former Cash Money rapper and founding member of the Hot Boys blamed only himself for his crimes, which included felony gun possession and witness tampering.

“At the end of the day, I possessed a firearm and I was a convicted felon,” he said. “I shouldn’t have had a firearm. I had a firearm. I can’t take that back. I gotta do my bid. It is what it is.”

The “Bling, Bling” rapper said he could have possibly received a lighter sentence if he had cooperated with authorities and named other perpetrators, but he declined to take that route.

“At the end of the day, you gotta live with the decisions you make as a man. I made my bed, I gotta lay in it,” he said. “You know how the Feds operate. If you don’t want to give them nothin’ then they be extra harsh on you. So, I don’t regret being real. I don’t regret not taking nobody with me. I’m cool and comfortable in my situation.”

Though he’ll be away for more than a decade, B.G. said he plans to keep releasing new music. He’s vowed that going to jail won’t be the end of the road for him.

“I know I gotta footprint in the game,” he said. “I know I left a legacy. I know this ain’t the end of my story. It’s just another chapter in this life of a movie I’m living. This was in the cards for me. This was the hand I was dealt. I’m down, but I’m not out.”    Giztzzz…       madetv!
