CHRIS BROWN's LAWYER CONTACTS POLICE ABOUT FRANK OCEAN FIGHT…
Frank Ocean has already spoken to the police and fired off some tweets explaining what went down when he clashed with Chris Brown in a recording studio parking lot on Sunday. Now Brown is eager to tell his side of the story.
According to Made tv, Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos has reached out to the police and informed them that his client is ready and willing to talk about the fight. A source with knowledge of the case told the celebrity news site, which first broke story, that the “Don’t Judge Me” singer is confident that he did nothing wrong during the brawl at Westlake Studios in Los Angeles. Geragos is certain that the video surveillance footage will back up his client’s story.
Contrary to reports that Brown threw the first punch in the fight, the video footage captured in the lobby of the studio allegedly does not show Brown nor Ocean involved in the melee. At that point, the fisticuffs were being thrown by members of the singers’ entourages. Still, police want to hear what happened in the parking lot, where the fight started and where there was no video surveillance available.
Brown also has a good reason for why he left the scene before police arrived. Apparently, this was on the strict order of his lawyer, who instructed him to get out of dodge when there is trouble brewing.
Other than acknowledging a desire to speak with law enforcement through his lawyer, the only other time Brown has addressed the controversy was via his Instagram page. The singer posted a picture of Jesus on a cross, to express his mood post-fight.
“Painting the way I feel today. Focus on what matters,” he wrote in an apparent response to the public passing judgment on him for having yet another physical altercation with a celebrity… Giztzzz… madetv!
