BRANDY SUES HER RECORD LABEL…
R&B singer Brandy has filed a lawsuit against her label, Chameleon Entertainment Group, claiming they have blocked her from recording new music.
According to mAdE t.V sources, Brandy claims they have kept her from recording new material since her last album, 2012’s Two Eleven, and the January single “Beggin & Pleadin.”
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday [March 29] and claims her deal with Chameleon gave the label the option of releasing four more albums. It alleges they have kept her from recording new material in the last four years in an attempt to get her to sign a new deal.
In the lawsuit, Brandy states the contract is dissolved and is requesting a judge make it void. She is also seeking $1 million dollars in damages. Giztzzz… mAdE t.V!
