MANNY PACQUIAO GETS DROPPED BY NIKE OVER GAY REMARKS…

(FILES) In this September 3, 2014 file photo, Filipino boxing star Manny Pacquiao gestures on arrival for a press conference with fellow boxer Chris Algieri in Los Angeles, California. Pacquiao called his boxing showdown with Floyd Mayweather "the fight of my life" as he got down to work pounding the streets and gym in Los Angeles. The eight-division world champion cranked into serious preparations for the May 2 fight after flying in for his training camp from his native Philippines. On March 2, 2015, Pacquiao ran two miles (3.2 km) and shadow-boxed for two rounds, followed by abdominal work and breakfast of steamed rice, scrambled egg, fish and chicken broth. Nike has cut ties with boxer Manny Pacquiao over his recent homophobic comments, mAdE t.V sources report. Manny first made headlines on Tuesday by saying gay people are “worse than animals” in an interview with a Filipino news station. Of course, Pacquiao apologized but says he is still against same-sex marriage. Nike has stated they have had a hard time keeping up with Pac and have wanted to let go of him for quite sometime now.  In 2012, he drew criticism for disagreeing with President Obama’s support of gay marriage. No products for pac are even on the Nike store and they have also deleted their most recent stories of him. Nike has shown support for the LGBT community in the past with the release of #BETRUE products in which promote inclusion in sports. Looks like Manny is now a free agent on the brand market.           Giztzzz…            mAdE t.V!
